Stop Throwing Out Egg yolks If you have the ability to handle eggs then stop throwing the yolk away! 1 whole egg has: 70cal, 5g fat, 6g protein, 70mg sodium, 65mg potassium, 185mg cholesterol. Take out the yolk and you get: 17cal, 4g protein, trace sodium, potassium & cholesterol.....so you are losing out on all the goodness a yolk has to offer. What else does the power of the yolk contain for you to help with training and recovery: - The Fat in the yolk helps to absorb the fat soluble Vitamins A, D, E, & K - Fat in the yolk: fat slows digestion and help you feel fuller longer - Each yolk holds: calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium - B Vitamins B1, B6, B9, B12 - Choline: a neurotransmitter needed to activate muscles - Carotenoids: an antioxidant to help clean up the free radical damage done by exercise, helping recover faster - The omega fats in the eggs: your body cannot make these so you need to supplement with them or eat food that holds them. They reduce inflammation and also help with healthier skin, nails, hair and hormonal help aka libido - Good cholesterol: HDL high density lipoprotein, these do not contribute to heart disease, but help remove LDL low density lipoprotein that do contribute to heart disease. So again if you can ah dale whole eggs, remember that you will get a bigger bang for your buck eating whole eggs rather than eating just egg whites, so throw a few whole yolks into your daily meals. #actionconditioning #actionkitchen #eggs #yolk #egg #yolk #nutrition #fat #fatpower #macros #iifym #idfa #inbf #wnbf #recovery #regeneration #fuel #fitness #fitat40
